How can I obtain retrieval services

If you need a list of resources (books, journals, web pages, etc.) about a specific topic, you can place an order via an online form or printed form. It is necessary to clearly specify your topic, including time and geographic constraints (Czech Republic only, EU, German resources only, etc.). Please provide keywords relevant to your topic (in Czech as well as in other languages) to faciliate the process.

Based on your request, a subject librarian will prepare and send you a summary of information resources available, and, if possible, full texts of the articles. In some cases you can also ask for Selective Dissemination of Information (SDI), in which you will get automatically generated outputs from the catalogue of new acquisitions and new articles available from appropriate online databases.

Libraries provide information retrieval services free of charge for their academic workers and postgraduate students under the given conditions in the library regulations and price list. Libraries offer other users (including students) advice and online database training.
