How can I use services

The Econlib services are available to all registered users of the CIKS and CERGE-EI libraries and partly to the unregistered expert public. The libraries are open to the public; the rules and the prices for offered services are set in the Library Regulations and Price Lists (library regulations of CIKS, CERGE-EI; price lists of CIKS, CERGE).

Any citizen of the Czech Republic and foreigner with a residence permit older than 15 can become a registered user of the CIKS VŠE Library. Users are internal or external. We do not offer corporate memberships. CERGE-EI library, in accordance with its Library Regulations, offers services to the academic public and to students of the research and educational program of UK CERGE. The library offers its services only to registered users. The users can be internal, external or corporate; each category has different terms for accessing the library and information services.

To use our services, please send your request to the staff of one of the above libraries. You can find contact information for a specific staff member on the web pages about certain services. Users can also use the general e-mail addresses of the libraries: i-servis@vse.cz for CIKS and library@cerge-ei.cz for CERGE-EI. An electronic request form is also available.

The acquisition prices of all information resources of the libraries are intended for non-profit research, development and education. Availability of sources and prices are determined by licence conditions and copyright.
