How can I obtain texts
There are three ways to obtain a specific text:
- Electronic information resources (ProQuest, EBSCO etc.)
Find the resource you are looking for in the list of resources. If the
resource is not available in full text, please contact the library for
electronic delivery of the text. Please remember that some journals publish
their electronic versions of texts with some delay as compared to the printed
edition.
Electronic delivery of an article (from journals that the CIKS or CERGE-EI library subscribes to)
It is necessary to know the title of the article as well as the name of the
journal. Please check the list of subscribed periodicals to determine
whether the CIKS or CERGE-EI library subscribes to the requested journal.
Then, fill in the order form for Electronic delivery of documents
(EDD).
- Delivery of an article or book chapter from outside
If you need documents that are not in the collection of either library,
we can offer advice on how to obtain
these documents. We recommend you search for documents and bibliographic
information in the Virtual polythematic
library (in Czech).
Registered users of either library can also use the Interlibrary loan service or
International interlibrary loan service. International interlibrary loan service is provided by specialized departments of the following libraries: National Library of the Czech Republic, State Technical Library, Library of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, Moravian Library in Brno, Scientific Library in Olomouc and National Medical Library in Prague.
